i think that in Florida, the cops wouldn’t even do anything, because there were no actual witnesses, the video inadmissible because it wasn’t taken by a LEA or some such, not official. a pedestrian can get hit in the crosswalk by a driver making a turn (both with the right to proceed, but the driver obliged to yield the right-of-way), and there be no legal, criminal repercussions so long as the driver shows no sign of intoxication/impairment and doesn’t leave the scene (and again, nobody saw it happen, the actual impact, only after the pedestrian had landed back on the roadway). i saw it happen not a month ago.
