Goliath The Cow Thinks He’s A Dog

An  an eight-week-old calf in Californina thinks he’s dog.

Goliath, who was a “drop calf” from a dairy farm, has been raised alongside the three family dogs on Shaylee Hubbs’ family’s ranch in Danville, California.

As reported by ABC News, one of the dogs, a Great Dane named Leonidas, took an immediate liking to Goliath when he arrived.

“He would lick the little cow on the face and try to nudge him to stand up,” Hubbs told ABC News. “He would lay down with the sick, little cow for hours just to keep him company.”

‘They chase and play together, he watches how they eat their dog food and drink water from their bowls and copies them and he even lays in their dog beds.,’ Hubbs, a high school senior, told ABC News.

In a world of social media, Hubbs has been documenting Goliath’s dog-like behavior on Twitter.

A photo of Goliath nestled up on the coach that was posted to Twitter has since been retweeted over 32,000 times and liked over 54,000 times, ABC reported.

Not only has Goliath copied how the dogs eat their food and drink water from their bowls, he’s learned to make himself at home on the couch!

Hubbs said that she and her family are overjoyed with the attention Goliath is getting, and that he’s a beloved “pet and family member” who’s here to stay.
