Carnival Ecstasy death

For what it’s worth Carnival Cruise Lines seem to have an inordinate number of catastrophes and issues. I do not understand the desire to be on a ship, trapped, forced to eat the food that frequently seems to harbor Norwalk vomiting virus, forced to share space at close quarters with strangers, and then there are people falling off and drowning at times. My opinion is that the money spent on a cruise would be better used simply going to a good old tried-and-true hotel or resort. Condolences to this man’s poor family.
