ts crazy a few days ago i came across a documentary about the pressure Michelin star had cause to some chefs and it is interesting to know that the character of Chef Gusteaus of Ratatouille was actually based on a famous chef that commited suicide due to rumors of him to be stripped off his michelin star ( or his restaurant rather).

committing suicide in the time of trouble is not the best solution. I believe problems, challenges and suffering is a key to many positive things that we never can imagine! It’s sad to hear this but as for those looking forward to this on the day of adversity please don’t because better life awaits you!

It does not amaze me, in France the big chef have an enormous pressure as for the quality of their cooking. The more they are recognized as leader and the more the pressure is enormous. One always wait for more of them. They have the reputation of the French gastronomy, one of the biggest art at with us.
It is one of the jobs the most mediatized in France, but it is also the most debated and the most difficult.
