Car bomb in Nevada
Initial investigation has confirmed that the second explosion at a house in Panaca, 160 km northeast of Las Vegas may be intentionally set by the driver of the first explosion, who wanted to take the revenge on the occupants of the house. The driver is reported to be a disgruntled nurse at the Grover C. Dils Medical Center, who was apparently targeting a married couple, who worked at the Medical Center.
“My neighbor says there’s a 3-foot crater where the car was parked,” resident Richard Katschke said. “The car is in pieces around town.”
“The sound was just horrendous. It was really quite a force,” said Jeanett McCrosky, who lives about a block away. She said her house shook and a light fixture fell from the ceiling.
Recent reports suggest that the second blast near the house has severally damaged the home of the married couple and injured a boy who was riding his bicycle, nearby. Fortunately, the boy was taken to the hospital and released soon after. At this time, it is also confirmed that the only damage is the physical property and the deceased driver.
