Under mounting pressure to increase ratings and ensure the survival of The Voice, reports are indicating that controller Danny Cohen is offering to double singer Jessie J’s £200,000 salary in order to keep her to stay.
British singer Jessie J, 24, who has been the vocal coach for The Voice has been facing a lot of backlash recently. Several sources are indicating that she is fed up with some of the negative feedback she has gotten as a result of her involvement with the television show. As a result, she is considering leaving the show, according to reports.
Different sources have indicated that she does not want to get too involved with the Voice, especially if it is distracting from her singing career. However, co-host Holly Willoughby has insisted that Jessie J is not quitting.
She was hired to speak her mind and now she is being punished in the press for it. The question on whether or not she will stay has not been 100 percent confirmed by the show or Jessie J.
