Director David Cronenberg tried getting Robert Pattinson to debut his man bits in the in the upcoming drama Cosmopolis.
Pattinson explains a risque scene his director wanted to try in the movie which is based on the novel by Don Delillo.
“Five minutes before we filmed, David told me, ‘I want to see the bottom of your balls on the top of the frame,” said Pattinson.
“At the moment, I reminded myself that I would do anything for him. So I went back to see him and told him that wouldn’t happen.”
The film maker apparently took Pattinson decision well.
“He took it really well,” said Pattinson. “At the start, it’s a very bizarre scene that you won’t see again in another movie, I promise.”
Pattinson’s Twilight Saga co-star Kristen Stewart had no trouble getting naked for the down-and-dirty sex scenes in On the Road, an adult film that sits in stark contrast to her vampire series. In fact, she loved taking on-screen risks to tell “the truth” about her character in the film, Stewart said Wednesday.
“I love pushing, I love scaring myself!” Stewart told a Cannes Film Festival press conference about her experience with director Walter Salles. Her role is that of free spirit who has sex with two icons of the Beat Generation, the characters inspired by writers Neal Cassady and Jack Kerouac. Sometimes with both at the same time.
