After a recent football practice, New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow returned to the locker room and the unexpected chants of “Lolo” from his teammates.
The incident quickly made it to Twitter, with many fans hoping for a love match between the two athletes.
29-year-old Jones, who will compete in the women’s 100-meter hurdle during this summer’s Olympic Games, revealed to Bryant Gumbel on “Real Sports” the difficulty that she has faced in the dating world while trying to maintain her Christian values.
“It’s just something, a gift that I want to give to my husband,” Jones told HBO’s Real Sports. “But please, understand, this journey has been hard.”
“If there’s virgins out there, I’m going to let them know, it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life – harder than training for the Olympics, harder than graduating from college, has been to stay a virgin before marriage.”
The devout Tebow, 24, discussed his intention to save himself for marriage while still a college player, and has shared his Christian beliefs in his best-selling memoir and philanthropic work.
Tebow has remained silent on the dating advice, but Jones tweeted, “”Ask Tebow if he wants a glass of milk. If he says yes, ask him if he prefers chocolate. if he says no, then no more Tebow date suggestions” referring to her mixed parentage.
