Jillian Michaels Welcomes Two Children
A former trainer for the hit NBC show “The Biggest Loser” became a mom twice in early May by welcoming an adopted daughter from Haiti and a son from partner Heidi Rhoades. The two year-old girl, Lukensia, will be big sister to brother Phoenix.
Michaels told People magazine, “We’re swimming in babies over here.” She also updated her Facebook status to read, “I am really happy to finally share with you that I have brought my daughter home AND I have a newborn son.”
The 38 year-old Michaels left television behind last year because becoming a mother was more important to her. She also stated that she has a lot of respect for the sacrifices new mothers make. “It’s not the way we had planned it! But that’s how our life works. It’s always big. It could never be something like one child at a time.”
