Accoring to reports, singer Sherel Crow has a benign brain tumor.
In an interview with the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the 50-year-old singer-songwriter admitted that she went to see a doctor in November because of rampant memory loss
“I worried about my memory so much that I went and got an MRI. And I found out I have a brain tumor,” Crow tells the Las Vegas Review Journal.
“I haven’t really talked about it,” she adds. “In November, I found out I have a brain tumor. But it’s benign, so I don’t have to worry about it.”
Crow’s representative confirmed the news to E!, adding, “Half of us are walking around with [meningioma] but you don’t really know unless you happen to have an MRI. [Crow] has no symptoms and everything is fine. It was a random mention during the [Vegas] interview. It was not meant to alarm anyone. She is doing great and is healthy and happy.”
Crow, who battled breast cancer six years ago, says she recently forgot some of the words to her song “Soak Up the Sun” while performing in Florida.
She joked: “I’m 50, what can I say? My brain’s gone to (expletive).”
