Sometimes even the most beautiful celebrities make horrible hairstyle choices. From mullets to beehives, there have been a lot of follicle faux-pas over the years.

Gwen Stefani and Scarlett Johansson both rocked mullets in 2003. While it was obvious they were trying to look cute, they couldn’t have been more wrong.

The 80’s were a troubled time that brought us New Kids on the Block, neon everything, and yes… even the dreaded 80’s perm. The tight, frizzy curls showed up everywhere from Hollywood to the smallest town in Arkansas. No one was spared, not even children. Jennifer Grey of “Dirty Dancing” had her huge, curly poof in 1987.

Another celebrity with a questionable, though iconic, head of hair was Amy Winehouse. Her signature beehive was something we’ll never forget. Kim Cattrall and Paula Abdul should have brushed their hair instead of teasing and spraying it up into a mess of a beehive they could never hope to pull off.
