Lohan Lied to Police?
According to recently released reports, celebrity Lindsay Lohan may have directly lied to police officers after she was involved in a car accident on June 8th, 2012.
The accident occurred apparently while Lohan was driving a Porsche she was renting alongside her assistant.
TMZ officially has reported that the police department from Santa Monica themselves have filed a report on Lohan, stating that they believe she lied directly to them during an interview shortly after the accident had occurred.
After the accident had happened, the other driver James claimed that Lindsay attempted to bribe him to avoid police confrontation or to be charged with the accident. When police spoke with Lindsay, she claimed she was not driving at the time and it was her assistant who was in her place instead.
Lindsay’s assistant later came forward to speak with police and admitted she was not driving and that Lohan was actually the driver during the incident.
Lohan’s rep denied the driver’s bribery allegations in a statement on Sunday: “It seems to me once he realized he wasn’t going to get anything from Lindsay he decided to get cash by telling tales to the tabloids. I hope he got whatever money he was looking for. Personally, all I care about is that Lindsay and [her assistant] Gavin are okay.”
