No, No, You’re Singing it All Wrong
Music may be a universal language but it is not always understood. How often do we hear our friends or worse our parents passionately singing along with a song only to fumble over certain words? So often when this happens instead of the amateur shower entertainer or aspiring passenger seat performer admitting the words resonating from his/her lips are incorrect they just keep on singing.
Sure we all know that some words sound alike but often times the miss spoken words or miss sung, in this case are not even close to what the lyrics actually are.
An example of a most recent misheard or misunderstood lyrics are not too bad, but still funny. Adele’s Chasing Pavement – Should I give up, or should I just keep chasing pavements but those who did not get it time after time after time sang, Should I give up or should I just keep chasing penguins. I guess the title of the song never crossed the mind of the people miss singing the words.
