50 Cent Hospitalized and Released After Accident
Hip Hop icon and rapper 50 Cent was hospitalized on Tuesday after being involved in a severe car accident.
Representatives for the fan say he is doing fine and was later released after being treated for minor neck and back injuries. He is expected to make a full recovery in time.
“(50 Cent) was taken to New York Hospital Queens where he was treated for minor neck and back injuries,” the rapper’s rep told The News. “He was released this morning and is doing fine.”
According to news sources, the artist was in his SUV on the Long Island Expressway in New York when he was rear-ended by a Mack truck which nearly resulted in the SUV being flipped.
According to ThisIs50.com, it all went down early Tuesday morning on the Long Island Expressway in New York City, when a red mack truck rear-ended 50’s ride … and the rapper’s SUV “almost flipped over.”
50 Cent’s personal driver, Bruce Miller, was also injured in the incident but is expected to recover.
