Hunger Games Star Acts as Real Life Hero
The Hunger Games’ star Jennifer Lawrence recently helped a young woman who had passed out on the lawn in front of her apartment building near Santa Monica, California.
According to E! News, local police received a 911 call at 6:49 p.m. about a woman who had passed out, possibly from alcohol, outside an apartment complex. Although it wasn’t Lawrence who placed the call, police confirmed the Oscar nominee was with the sick woman and stayed with her until paramedics arrived
After going outside to walk her dog, Lawrence spotted the woman who was laying unconscious on the grass. When she stopped to help the woman, another neighbor called 911 and Lawrence was with the unconscious woman until the EMT arrived.
“We had a concerned resident call 911 about a female juvenile who apparently passed out or may have been intoxicated,” Sgt. Richard Lewis told ABCNews.com.
Lawrence stayed at the scene until she heard the woman was okay.
In the end, the woman who had passed out was treated at the scene and was not transported to the hospital.
Lawrence 21, will start filming “Catching Fire,” the sequel to “The Hunger Games,” later this year alongside Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson.
