If you are a fan of singer Adele then you already know that her powerful and intense songs come from her failed relationships.
What the songstress has not revealed to the public is that most of her lyrics refer to her bisexual ex-boyfriend who dumped her and left her for one of his gay friends; which reportedly happened on Adele’s 18th birthday.
The details about Adele’s heart wrenching breakup are revealed in an unofficial biography entitled: Adele: The Biography, and penned by Marc Shapiro.
“One thing we know is that it was a first love gone terribly bad,” author Marc Shapiro writes. “Adele had professed her love and he did the same, she had known he was bisexual but, in the rush of romance, felt they could make it work. Four hours after laying their emotional cards on the table, the boy ran off with one of Adele’s gay friends!”
Adele herself sort of confirmed the claims in her official website biography, Reports She Knows.
“‘Daydreamer’ is about this boy I was in love with, like proper in love with, he was bi and I couldn’t deal with that. All the things I wanted from my boyfriend, he was never going to be, I get really jealous anyway, so I couldn’t fight with girls and boys.”
The unofficial biography about the Grammy award winning singer will be released in mid-July of 2012.
