The Georgia home owned by famous country singer Kenny Rogers, originally on the docket at an auction home, was recently sold from a purchaser who must love big homes and a lot of land.
Located near Nicholson, Ga., the property is a homeowner’s dream. The house included 5,681 square feet, with a 2,675 square foot underground pool outside. There are also large plots of the home’s land dedicated to Roger’s favorite activities such as horseback riding, and go-kart racing. According to the Grand Estates Auction Co. in North Carolina, the house was sold on Wednesday for $2.25 million.
“That’s all the information I have,” a Grand Estates spokeswoman said.
The spokeswoman gave no explanation on why the auction ended so abruptly or who is purchasing the home.
