Is Lindsay Lohan Innocent This Time?
Poor Lindsay! Talk about being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
How could she know that going to a small gathering of friends at a Hollywood Hills home on Sunday and crashing there with several other guests would find them all waking up to a statement that expensive jewelry had been stolen, assumingly during the night?
Law enforcement authorities were then called in, and everyone present was interviewed extensively.
Lindsay insists that she is innocent and has no knowledge of the theft. So far she is not considered to be a suspect, and the investigation is continuing.
Let’s hope that her innocence is proven and that she will not again be involved in a burglary scandal. Things have been quiet in her life recently, and she certainly does not need any more bad publicity.
Last year Lohan was charged for grand theft larceny, in connection with the swiping of a $2,500 necklace, from the Kamofie & Co. jewelry store in Venice, California. The actress pleaded “no contest” to the charges.
