LL Cool J. Stops Home Burglar

Los Angeles, CA – Rapper & current star of the show “NCIS: Los Angeles”, LL Cool J reported apprehended a home invader yesterday morning at about 2:44AM.

It’s reported that the muscular (6 feet tall and 200-pounds) LL Cool J was awakened by noises in the early morning hours and upon investigating the source of the noise surprised the burglar.

The home invader took to flight but the physically fit rapper proved too much of a match. LL Cool J is said to have both tackled and subdued the robber until police were able arrive on the scene.

The AP reports that police responded to a call to 9-1-1 from a girl who said her father had detained a burglar.

When police got to the scene, they found the perpetrator with minor bruises and LL Cool J unharmed. The man reportedly did not take anything but was still arrested on suspicion of burglary, said law enforcement officials.

The rapper and his 16 year old daughter Samaria Smith are fine – neither injuries nor stolen items were reported.

Police arrested the unidentified man on suspicion of burglary. LL Cool J’s representative put out the following statement: “LL Cool J and his family are safe and thank everyone for their thoughts and concern… and is cooperating with authorities on this private matter.”

“As a father, husband and citizen, [LL Cool J] is committed to keeping his family safe and is cooperating with authorities on this private matter,” said the spokesperson in a statement to the Daily News.
