Kourtney Kardashian Gains
It has just been six weeks ago that Kourtney Kardashian gave birth to her daughter, Penelope. Her friends and admirers relish the fact that she has already lost some of the weight she gained during her pregnancy.
Kourtney says, however, that she will not push herself, like she did after having her son, Mason, which resulted in her losing the weight so fast that she collapsed on a beach during one of her runs.
She says she feels somewhat obsessed about losing the weight as she gained 45 pounds, compared to the 33 pounds she gained with Mason.
“I gained nearly 45 pounds. I’m 5 feet tall, so that’s a lot,” she said. Her strategy for now? “While I’m here around the house, I just eat healthy.”
Still, she insists she is not going to push herself; instead, she had decided to eat healthy when at home. She says will have low-fat treats during family gatherings.
“Slumber party with Mason and Penelope!” Kim, 31, tweeted Saturday. The next morning she shared a picture of Kourtney, writing, “I woke up this morning to this . . . gotta love Kourtney Kardashian making breakfast.”
Some observers are wondering if she can stick with her pledge to lose weight simply through her food intake; after all, she did gain an additional 12 pounds with her latest delivery.
