Dr. Phil’s Classic ’57 Chevy Goes Missing
Dr. Phil McGraw’s popular TV franchise has enabled him to invest in such toys as classic cars, such as the ’57 Chevy he had towed to a Burbank, California repair shop when the car recently experienced engine trouble.
Little did Dr. Phil know that he may never see his beautiful Chevy again since it was stolen from the shop in a late night robbery.
Police report that burglars broke into the repair shop in the middle of the night and made off with the expensive Chevy, estimated to have a value of more than $100,000.
Local police are on the case with few clues to go on. McGraw joins the growing list of celebrities who own classic cars which have been stolen, including the Food Channel’s Guy Fieri, whose beloved Lamborghini sports car was only recently found more than one year after its theft.
