Kate Middleton’s Dad Walks Fatherless Friend Up the Aisle
Kate Middleton’s best friend’s father is no longer living, so she borrowed Middleton’s dad to escort her up the aisle as a new bride.
The Dutchess of Cambridge was among the invited guests who watched Middleton’s father walk Thierry Kelaart up the aisle at St. Bartholomew’s Church for her marriage to Patrick Heathcote-Amory. The wedding took place over the weekend in Oxfordshire.
Michael Middleton looked dashing in a traditional mourning coat as he gingerly held the hand of the beaming Kelaart, outfitted in a gorgeous ivory-colored lace and satin wedding dress.
Kate Middleton chose a pale blue outfit for attending the nuptuals, accompanied by her beautiful unmarried sister Pippa who was wearing a jacketed beige dress and matching hat.
While the newlyweds posed for photographs in the church yard, Kate Middleton was all smiles mingling with other guests, obviously remembering the happy occasion of her own wedding in the spring of 2011.
