Smallville Star Sam Jones Gets Early Prison Release

Smallville Actor Sam Jones Gets Early Prison Release

Sam Jones, famous for his starring role as the character Pete Ross for the first three seasons of the long running TV series “Smallville”, was released two months early from his one year prison sentence.

According to TMZ, Jones had pleaded guilty to attempting to sell over 10,000 pills of the highly addictive drug Oxycodone and was treated leniently with a one year sentence; he ended up serving just ten months.

Jones stated that his involvement in the sale of the drug was somewhat altruistic – a friend owed a debt to the Mexican drug cartel and the Oxycodone pills were going to settle that debt.
