Amber Tamblyn Gets Wed in Yellow Dress
29-year-old Amber Tamblyn has married 48 year old actor David Cross.
The actress is famous for her roles in movies such as “Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants”, “The Grudge”, “The Ring”, and currently stars in the hit show “House, M.D.”.
What’s noteworthy about the wedding is that Tamblyn chose canary yellow for her wedding dress. However unconventional that color may appear, Tamblyn was lovely in the dress.
She arrived at the wedding in a red canoe and was escorted down the aisle by her father Russ Tamblyn barefoot. The outdoor ceremony was also noteworthy for the attendees.
Questlove tweeted an Instagram shot of the 29-year-old actress and what appears to be her father emerging barefoot from a canoe.
“Princess Amber arrives in style,” the Roots musician captioned the nature shot.
Notably were her co-stars from “Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants”: America Ferrero, Alexis Bledel, and Blake Lively – the latter of whom recently married Ryan Reynolds who was also in attendance.
Other attendees were Amy Poelher, Jason Ritter and Questlove. Questlove also did the honors as DJ. The song “Yo la Tengo” was the special number for the reception. By all accounts the outdoor wedding was lovely set against the backdrop of rich autumn colors.
Despite the age difference between Tamblyn and her husband, they have been dating since 2008.
