Downton Abbey, the British drama that surprisingly became a world-wide phenomenon, will air tonight the in the United States on PBS. Fans wildly anticipate watching the show and the producers do not expect to disappoint the fans. Here’s some of the drama that you can expect to unfold this season.
John Bates and Anna Smith have long been the love that fans wanted to see blossom. However, John is serving a life sentence in prison for the murder of his wife.
There’s an expectation that in season 3 someone, possibly his wife Anna, will find the evidence needed to clear his name and free him from prison. With the roaring end of the roaring 20s comes the stock market crash and somewhere in that period the Crawley family will experience extreme financial distress. There’s nothing like watching a family maintain grace under pressure and we may learn some vital lessons from watching the Crawley’s deal with financial hardships. L
ady Mary Crawley and her cousin Matthew Crawley are now engaged and heading towards marriage.
However, we’ve seen in prior seasons that Lady Mary has a way of attracting controversy to herself and there are bound to be obstacles faced in her quest to marry.
