Details of Fight at Hope Solo’s home revealed

The Kirkland Police Department in Washington State have made four 911 calls made from the home of U.S. Women’s Soccer Team goalkeeper Hope Solo public from the morning of her wedding. At around 3 am on November 12th 2012 Solo’s brother Marcus, 35 called police claiming a fight had led to a woman sustaining a hip injury following the use of a stun gun.

Marcus Solo, hopes brother, admitted a physical fight had taken place after alcohol had been consumed on the eve of Hope Solo’s wedding to former Seattle Seahawks football player Jerramy Stevens.

“There was a little fight inside the house, and she got thrown to the ground, and she might have dislocated her hip,” Marcus Solo told the dispatcher in one of the calls, referring to another woman at the house who had apparently been injured. According to the police report, eight people, two sleeping children and six adults, were present.

Upon arriving at the house of the former Dancing With the Stars contestant police found a woman with a hip injury and both the Solo’s with injuries. A search of the house revealed Stevens was hiding in the master bedroom of the house, which was reported to smell of marijuana. A group of unnamed men were claimed to have been responsible for the fight, a claim the police dismissed; Solo and Stevens married later the same day.
