Canadian pop star Justin Bieber faced further problems in his series of concerts at London’s O2 Arena Thursday night when he was forced to take a 20 minute break during the concert after reportedly fainting.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bieber passed out in the backstage area towards the end of the show. He was treated on the scene and given oxygen while his manager, Scooter Braun, addressed the O2 audience.
“Justin’s got very light breath,” Braun explained. “The whole show he’s been complaining. He’s backstage with the EMTs and the doctor.”
A spokesperson claimed Bieber was given oxygen and defied medical opinion to return to the stage and complete his concert; after collapsing backstage Bieber’s manager appeared on the stage to explain to fans that the Baby singer was unwell, but would return to complete the concert.
The four night residency of Bieber at the O2 Arena has been incident packed following the first night on Monday when angry fans claimed the Canadian singer appeared onstage two hours late.
Twitter fan Bieber has showed his anger and frustration at the global media for how Monday’s concert problems were portrayed.
Thursday night saw Bieber again take to Twitter, this time to thank his fans for their support following his backstage collapse.
