Various women have topped Maxim’s annual Hot 100 list over the years. Miley Cyrus is the new queen of the list for 2013. In 2012, Bar Refaeli was crowned by the magazine for her appealing looks.
Britain’s FHM recently crowned actress Mila Kunis the “sexiest woman in the world”. Without a doubt, Cyrus’ distinction comes in the wake of the singer changing her image in a more edgy direction.
The former “Hannah Montana” star accidentally broke the news of her nomination before the magazine itself, though. On May 3, she revealed the news on Twitter and Instagram along with a photo of herself from the magazine writing, “My 1st Instagram is dedicated to all my fans,” she captioned the shot. “Thank you for crowning me #1 [on] Maxim’s Hot 100.”
She won’t face any consequences for the mishap, but the magazine can’t be too happy about the early release. Either way, a lot of people like her new look, including her hairstyles.
Last year, Cyrus ranked No. 68 on the list before her dramatic change in appearance. Plenty of other magazines will release their annual lists that rank famous women by appearance. Cyrus could rank highly on plenty of those lists, too. Sure, these lists don’t really mean much to most people. It’s still amusing to take a look at how various publications rank famous women, though.
Cyrus finally addressing all the rumors about her relationship with fiancé Liam Hemsworth in the new, May issue of V magazine.
“I’m not home with my boyfriend all the time. We work. Every week it’s ‘Are they broken up? Because we don’t see a photo of them,’ ” she says.
The sexy songstress goes on to say, “I don’t have time to go to Starbucks with my boyfriend every morning. I wish I did, but I don’t. I’d rather chill at my house and be there for the time I actually get to spend with him.”
She adds, “And then I’m at the studio all day. He gets up to work out at six and I come home at five from the studio. I put this record before everything, and I’ve never done that with anything. I’ve put too much into this record to put anything else in front of it.”
Maxim hasn’t yet confirmed who’s on this year’s list, but congrats, Miley!
