Plastic Surgery Regrets Tamra Barney Double-D Size Implants Removed After Cervical Cancer Diagnoses
Real Housewives, Tamra Barney, has had her double “D” breast implants removed. After finding out that she may have cervical cancer, Barney was prompted “take back control of [her] body,” remove her implants, and return her body back to it’s natural state.
During an interview with Dr Oz, the 44-year-old reality star revealed she suffered a ‘little health scare’ while filming the seventh season of the hit show.
‘I have a long list of reasons why I had them removed, she says. ‘Starting with they always felt too big for my body,’ Barney revealed in a 2012 interview with Dr. Oz.
She adds: ‘I had a little health scare. I was going through this divorce. I go to the doctor and I have lumps in my breasts and I had cervical cancer that had to be removed.’
Barney first had the implants reduced to a “C” cup in 2007, and then finally decided to have the implants entirely removed in 2011. Her breasts are now a size 34B, and according to Barney this is the most confident and happy she has ever felt with her body.
Barney stated in interviews that she received her implants while still very young and always felt very uncomfortable with her double “D” size implants. She describes how having larger breasts actually made her feel more self conscious as she felt they never fit with the rest of her body size. Apparently, the reasoning behind keeping her implants as long as she did was largely a result of pressure from her now ex-husband.
Overall, things seem to be looking up for this Orange County housewife. Since her on air engagement to Eddie Judge during Season 7 of “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” Barney has been busy with wedding planning and preparations.
