Reese Witherspoon Addresses Her Arrest in Atlanta

Actress Reese Witherspoon, best known for her role in “Legally Blonde”, was interviewed on the set of Good Morning America and addressed the arrest of both her and her husband Jim Toth in Atlanta, GA. She explained that the two hit the town on April 19 and enjoyed more wine that they should have.

They made the decision that they could drive back from the festivities when they were pulled over by Georgia police.

Her fan base was displeased by her behavior before the police. Witherspoon is reported to have attempted to user her celebrity status to get out of the trouble with law. She inquired if the officer understood who she was and even purported to be pregnant. Toth was arrested for DUI and Witherspoon for disorderly conduct.

The simple question is why the couple just didn’t call for a taxi cab given they clearly had drank too much wine. She simply said they exercised poor judgment.

Additionally, Witherspoon apologized to her fans for her behavior. If getting arrested was hard, the 37-year-old actress said the worst part of the experience was explaining it to her three children. Indeed, a parent having to explain such matters to a child would be very humbling.
