Tom Hanks Newest Role; Grandfather
Tom Hanks has played many roles in his great career. His acting range has showed him play a 13 year old boy trapped in the body of a full grown man in “Big”, the simple man who grabbed the attention of a nation in “Forrest Gump”, the brave AIDS patient who fought against discrimination in “Philadelphia, and the title character in “Charlie Wilson’s War”.
He’s a successful producer with films such as “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” and “The Polor Express”. He will even portray Walt Disney himself in the upcoming film “Saving Mr. Banks”. He’s also an accomplished writer and director but his very favorite roll may be that of a grandfather.
Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson are now very proud grandparents for the second time. Their son Colin Hanks and his wife, Samantha Bryant, gave birth to a daughter this weekend. This is the second daughter of the pair who have been married for three years. The new childs name was announced as Charlotte Bryant Hanks and she will join her sister Oliva Jane Hanks, who is two years old.
Colin Hanks is no acting slouch himself. He starred alongside Jack Black in the film “Orange County” and he has made many guest appearances on television shows.
