Don’t expect a formal invitation to Jennifer Aniston’s wedding to longtime boyfriend Justin Theroux anytime soon. The former “Friends” actress admitted in a recent interview that she and Theroux already feel like a married couple and are in “no rush” to make it official with an actual wedding ceremony.
“We just want to do it when it’s perfect, and we’re not rushed, and no one is rushing from a job or rushing to a job,” the We’re the Millers star told The Associated Press on Saturday, July 27. “And, you know, we already feel married.”
The couple had already been dating for 18 months when Theroux presented his lady love with an engagement ring and proposal of marriage just in time for his 41st birthday last summer. The two actors met while starring in the film “Wanderlust.”
Aniston says she is also anxious to clear up any rumors circulating that the couple had already set the date and then either postponed or cancelled wedding plans, making it very clear that no wedding date has ever been set and that the couple are simply enjoying each other’s company without any pressure to get married.
Theroux has accompanied the 44-year old Aniston to New York City this summer while she is busy filming an upcoming comedy with Owen Wilson called “Squirrels to the Nuts.”
They recently made a nostalgic return visit to a restaurant located in New York’s West Village where Theroux first presented Aniston with a ring.
