According to an article recently published by the Australian website News.com, singer sensation Britney Spears is really nailing her breakup from her cheating ex-boyfriend, David Lucado.

So far, the breakup has been public, well choreographed, and nothing short of spectacular. It’s hard not to empathize with poor David Lucado as he squirms in the spotlight of the international media glare. So far, though, public opinion seems solidly on the side of Ms. Spears, and things aren’t likely to change any time soon.

Britney has used the international social media platforms, primarily Twitter, to advertise her breakup from Lucado. In a series of short but sweet Twitter posts, she explained the various reasons for leaving her boyfriend, followed by a declaration that breakups are hard, and a final celebratory post praising the “single life”.

Spears has also very publicly blocked Lucado from her Twitter and presumably other social media accounts. There is absolutely no line of contact between the two now, at least as far as the Internet is concerned. There are also, presumably, plenty of plans in operation to prevent Lucado from meeting with Spears face to face.

Britney is far from heartbroken over the separation, at least as far as can be ascertained from her various social media posts. Spears also made the following announcement from the stage at a recent concert during her Las Vegas residency: “Well, by now everyone knows my boyfriend cheated on me. But the best part of breaking up is going on first dates. OMG, OMG, I need a hot guy. Where are the hot guys here tonight?”

It looks like Britney won’t be suffering any shortage of “hot guys”. Meanwhile, the playboy Lucado is probably fuming over the tsunami of bad publicity that has overtaken him. No comment from his handlers have reached the media as yet.
