Though she is known for posting selfies at the gym and in skimpy bikinis, Kim Kardashian knows she does not have the perfect body. The surprising thing to learn is that she doesn’t care.
A flub by Complex magazine revealed pre-Photoshopped pictures of Kim Kardashian on their website for a couple of hours. Though they removed them as soon as the mistake was noticed, the pictures have a permanent home on the internet.
Many bloggers gleefully celebrated Kardashian’s imperfections. Several bloggers even devoted websites and gained legions of followers looking to poke fun at celebrities’ less than perfect bodies.
Kardashian’s reaction was to embrace her flaws. She posted both versions of the photo on her website and wrote a heartfelt message on her blog, “So what: I have a little cellulite, what curvy girl doesn’t?”
The picture in question shows two versions of the star. The pre-Photoshopped version shows minute dimples on her thighs and her famously curvy waistline. The Photoshopped version shaves inches off her thighs and gets rid of the cellulite as well as brightening her skin.
Said the star on the pictures, “I’m proud of my body and my curves and this picture coming out is probably helpful for everyone to see that just because I am on the cover of a magazine doesn’t mean I’m perfect,”
