Taylor Swift is one of the hottest singers in the world at the moment. With five albums out, a string of top singles, and her latest album ‘1989’ already seeing record sales just two weeks after release, it is not surprising everyone is interested in Swift.

So much so, when a video of Taylor Swift singing in a car was uploaded to YouTube — or rather a video of Taylor lip-syncing to one of her own songs — the video went vira1 getting more than 1.6 million views in less than 48 hours.

The video in question is one Taylor made with the BBC’s Greg James recently. It starts off with James driving around London while lip-syncing to Taylor’s new song ‘Shake It Off’. Swift’s new single ‘Blank Space’ is the next song up, and James gets ready to sing, only to turn and see Taylor herself sitting in the passenger seat next to him.

The two then continue to drive, with Taylor lip-syncing, dancing and generally being adorable.

In fact, not only does Taylor prove in the video why fans seem to love her so much — after all she is peppy and happy all the time — she also shows how good she is at lip-syncing.

As for her seated dancing, even the criticisms she has been getting lately about the odd way she dances do not seem to have brought the singer down.

Instead, she has been going out of her way to dance even more, looking funkier and more stilted every time she does.

In fact, it looks like Taylor Swift might just be following her own advice from ‘Shake It Off’.

Ignore the critics, shake off the criticism, and do whatever you want to make yourself happy. It seems to be working.
