Bob Dylan Rumored to be Recording New Studio Album
American poet and recording legend Bob Dylan is reported to be in the studio making his first studio album since the 2012 critically acclaimed album “Tempest”. Once source in the know reports that thus far eight tunes have been recorded. However, Dylan keeps tight security outside the recording studio to prevent the leak of any information. The studio album rumors also coincide with talk that the aging 73-year-old is planning a world tour to support the album later next year. News of the recording is sure to spark the interests of his loyal fan base.Other reports are that the name of the album will be “Shadows in the Night”. It is set for release on February 3. If the rumors are true, the album will consists of cover versions. No original songs will be featured on the album. That said, Dylan carefully selected the tunes for album. Among those tunes features are the 1949 hit song “That Lucky Old Sun” originally recorded by Louis Armstrong, and the 1951 pop/jazz ballad “I’m a Fool to Want You” by Frank Sinatra. The album will also feature the 1949 Oscars & Hammerstein classic “Some Enchanted Evening” from the film “South Pacific”.
