The ageless actor has reprised his role in the popular franchise and promises to blow audiences away with the new stunt scenes.
The 52-year-old actor had to do a particularly “hairy” stunt for the film involving a motorbike.
He told Yahoo! Movies: “It was physically the most gruelling sequence. We’re going at very high speed with Simon Pegg as my passenger, drifting through very narrow streets with cameras on [the bike].
“I’m not wearing a helmet or pads, and at one point I’m highsiding a guy. It was hairy, actually.”
This upcoming addition to the Mission: Impossible series is directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who has a history working with Cruise.
He directed the star’s hit action thriller Jack Reacher and wrote both the World War II drama Valkyrie, and the futuristic sci-fi epic Edge Of Tomorrow.
Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation opens on July 31.
