Married at First Sight Couple To Divorce: “I’m So Surprised” Said No One Ever Posted by Chris Tyler | Jun 11, 2015 | Entertainment | 6 | Share this:TweetShare on TumblrEmail Related Share: Rate:
Sean should have made it clear that he can’t be too far from work since he’s a trauma nurse and stuck to that. His going back in forth on whether he could live in NYC was a bit much. Davina had unreasonable expectations. I found her annoying on the honeymoon when emotion overtook her and she cried. She was upset b/c Sean didn’t know to hold her or how to react in that moment. The were still strangers at that point. I think most men are uncomfortable seeing us cry but especially one that you just met. I also remember her saying that she didn’t care to become too good at bowling when Sean took her bowling w/his friends. I got that feeling that bowling was just too “blue collar” for her. I think she was too high maintenance for Sean.
From the get go Sean didn’t want to make it work. His running back to Jersey every chance he got proves that this arranged marriage wasn’t for him. I feel he went along with the experts when they made suggestions because he didn’t want to look bad in the eyes of the viewers. He should of been man enough and not wasted Davina’s time or the viewers by stringing everyone along.
Not a fan of either one. Who asks a man to suck his own toe as a sign of his undying love. That is just weird. She is major, mega high maintenance! He’s sort of a wimp. They deserved each other. I can see why they are both single!
People in arranged marriages grow up there entire lives knowing that they will be in a arranged marriage, I have enormous respect for all religions and there believe. I am always interested to learn about people that have different religious beliefs then me and I do not judge, but this show is not about that people. This show is about people that take a chance to find love regardless of their religious beliefs, with that being said the two couples that stayed together truly did put their best foot forward. Sean and Davina made a mess of the opportunity they were given. Davina started down the path of disrespect when she decided to make a mess out of the entire Union, she will never find a companion unless she fixes herself. I truly feel sorry for Sean, he can’t be all that bad with the admirable profession he chose which helps other people on a daily basis. #teamsean
You know, at first I thought it was Jaclyn’s Ryan who needed to grow up
but really it was Sean all the while.
He told the producers he was ready to move for love
yet he started whining as soon as he realized he would need to.
And I don’t think I was the only one who thought that going bowling with Sean’s buddies in New Jersey was not a “couple activity?”
I feel like the next big news from these two will be Sean coming out. I could be way off base on this, but he just seemed like he wasn’t comfortable with himself in a certain way. Davina was really a high maintenance person. But she, herself, was successful. She just wanted attention, and to feel swept off her feet. By the end, she was accepting of their “pals” situation, but frustrated at the same time. Her emotions on the carriage ride were so OBVIOUSLY being overlooked. He knew she was crying, even if tears of happiness, give the girl a hug. Put your arm around her! Kiss her and ask why are you crying. I felt he wasn’t trying to connect to his wife. I’m sure they will both make some man very happy one day.
