Duchess Kate Makes First Appearance Since Giving Birth To Princess Charlotte

On Saturday, June 13, Queen Elizabeth celebrated her 89th birthday in the annual tradition of the Trooping of the Colour.

As Us Weekly points out, it was the 63rd time the Queen has attended the parade in her honor, and she looked better than ever in a peach-colored dress, coat, and hat by Angela Kelly. It was also a big moment for her granddaughter-in-law, Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, who was making her first public appearance since giving birth to Princess Charlotte in early May.

Middleton, 33, looked stunning in her post baby form wearing a sky blue and white Catherine Walker Astrid coat dress and a large white hat by Lock & Co.

George gave the crowd an adorable wave goodbye before the family headed back inside the palace.

The parade also marked Duchess Kate’s first appearance since giving birth to Princess Charlotte in May. Riding in a horse-drawn carriage with Prince Harry and the Duchess of Cornwall, Kate wore a pale blue and white Catherine Walker frock with a Lock & Co hat.

Prince William and Prince Charles rode horseback next to each other, wearing traditional bearskin hats and red tunics.
