Candace is NOT a bigot. Actor Patrick Stewart actually defends this couple’s right and he’s a well known supporter of gay rights. He knows that a person has the right to refuse to do anything that violates a person’s religious convictions. This lesbian couple should have researched the company before they chose to buy a cake there, then there would have been no problem, but the oversensitive homosexual mafia want to be bullies. Why is no one crying foul on their behavior of ‘intolerance against Christians’? because that is exactly what they are promoting. Hypocrites!
Ah yes, the “tolerant” liberal wackos of entertainers– Whoopi and that other thing sitting there. How could anything Whoopi says be taken seriously when she defends Bill Cosby? Kudos To Cameron for having all the facts of the case, which obviously the other 2 didn’t have. Also not mentioned is the fact that the couple who refused to bake cake were also ordered to be silent about the whole matter, this being done by another liberal wacko judge in Oregon.
All I have to say is as a heterosexual man and father of two they should not be in business. When you open a business, it is a business. I’m sick and tired of people hiding behind “religious freedom”. I’ve got news for all of you. Those bakers might have baked a cake of a man who cheated on his first wife or perhaps baked a cake for a person’s birthday who took someone’s life and is now a felon. I count two commandments right there. Do we go on. You chose to open a business for all! You cannot decide to pick and choose now. No one is forcing you to be friends with lesbians or **** or dare I say worse…..go to their wedding. That I believe would be an intrusion to your religious freedom you moron.
Firstly, If I’m a business owner, I should be able to sell my product to whoever I want, or refuse service to whomever I choose. Its MY business.
Secondly, As a business owner, you are in business to make a profit. Limiting your potential clients is NOT a good business decision, however as I stated in #1, that’s your choice.
Thirdly, If I were a gay man or woman, and I was getting married, WHY would I choose a bakery that does not support my lifestyle to make my cake? I am free to get my cake from whomever I choose. Why would you choose to give your business to someone you think is a bigot. Its YOUR money, spend it how and where you want, why give money to people that don’t agree with your lifestyle??
They were looking for a nice big pay out to finance their wedding, nothing more. Bottom line is they are just greedy self important scumbags.
What one does in the privacy of the bedroom is their business, IT SHOULD STAY within the bedroom only, not out in public view, but when they shove it in my face (regardless of sexual proclivities( spp).) that’s when I will shove back. If I want to see lewd behaviour I will rent a smut movie, I do not appreciate any one attempting to force me to condone their sexual orientation in any manner.
The bakery did not refuse to serve the lesbian couple, they refused to bake a cake with a specific design on it, much as WalMart refused to bake a confederate flag cake which they considered offensive. If I understand correctly, the bakery would have happily sold them any number of cakes, pies or cupcakes, just not one decorated with 2 brides or 2 grooms. That is why the judge was wrong in this decision. To refuse service should be illegal. But to be required to produce a specific product is not right.
