Nick was an example of living humbly and doing the right things by others, and during their show weekly we saw how horribly Jessica was raised and how she treated those around her. I cheered about that break-up, Nick dereved so much better.
I think what this article misses the point on was that Nick asked for a pre-nup and she wouldn’t sign it. As he was bigger than her when they got married. As a result, her biggest financial mistake was not being fair at the onset and signing what was likely a relatively fair pre-nup.
Nich Lachey having been a celebrity longer doesn’t necessarily equate him being more financially meteoric than her when they got married. She had already achieved stardom when they broke up briefly in 2001 – reuniting after 9/11 and subsequently marrying in 2002. She’d had several popular albums already by then and her cutesy “I’m not very smart” brand had already started develpoing. His band started their hiatus in 2002 and his solo career was a total flop. I think it is probably more easily argued that she, being young and from a Christian family, felt a pre-nup is a plan for failure vs your insinuation that it came from a place of greed. I don’t think she had any reason to doubt her own financial stability independent of Nick Lachey.
She wants attention. She talks about the BILLION dollars her shoes and fashion whatever are worth but does she mention how many partners she has in this business venture? She simply used her branded name (from being blond/stupid from Newlyweds). She really needs to STHU

I think it’s very disrespectful to Vanessa for Jessica to keep talking about Nick. After all, Nick and Vanessa have been together forever and have two children so I feel it’s unnecessary for Jessica in any conversation to mention him or anything they’ve done together in the past.
