David Cassidy, star of the television show “The Partridge Family”, was charged with leaving the scene of a car crash last month in Florida and driving a vehicle with expired plates.
According to the Sun Sentinel newspaper, police said Cassidy, 65, a truck hit a glancing blow and then tried to cover tuition before retiring in your car with a flat tire. The charges were filed Wednesday.
Authorities said witnesses identified as the driver Cassidy when they presented a file of photographs.
Jason Forman, actor and singer lawyer said the police report is full of contradictions.
He said Cassidy surrendered to police your driver’s license and payment of tuition before leaving the scene. Artist hearing is scheduled for October 27.
Cassidy lives in Fort Lauderdale. Earlier this year he applied for federal bankruptcy protection.
