Ronda Rousey Instagram Post: “I’ll Be Back”
Ronda Rousey wants her fans to know she’s fine will be back.
Rousey was knocked out by Holly Holm in Saturday’s main event of UFC 193,
Rousey, 28, posted on Instagram Sunday evening that she looking forward to return to the sport after planned time off and appreciated the concerns about her health.
The Riverside California native reiterated that she is fine and will take some time off before returning. The previously undefeated Rousey was taken to the hospital after the fight and received stitches in her lip.
At the post-fight press conference, Holm said: ““Rematch makes sense for sure.
“I don’t look at this belt and think ‘I’ve made it’. I’ve been on the losing side before and wanted to avenge my loss.
“A rematch is kind of an unspoken common sense to me.”
UFC president Dana White refused to be drawn on when a possible return fight could take place, with UFC 200 in Las Vegas next July being tipped, but did agree the match made sense.
“I have no idea right now,” White said.
