Bristol Palin Tina Fey Oscars
Bristol Palin sounded off on Tina Fey’s Saturday Night Live parody of her mother Sarah Palin, and also had some words to share about the #OscarsSoWhite controversy. (She completely agrees with Stacey Dash)
It’s safe to say the abstinence advocate is not a fan of Fey, 45, in fact she called the Sisters star’s “fake accent like nails on a chalkboard.”
In a blog post titled “Who Wore It Better – Sarah Palin or Tina Fey?” the mother of two said Fey’s long-running impersonation is “desperate” and “pathetic.”
And the accent wasn’t the only thing Palin went after. “I think my mom trumps her in the looks department,” she wrote adding, “Especially for having three more kids and seven more years on Tina!”
Bristol also jumped in on the current #OscarsSoWhite controversy, as the film industry found itself under take for not having enough minorities included in this year’s Oscars nominations.
In a show of strange bedfellows, Bristol endorsed rapper Wacka Flacka’s dismissal of the controversy. (“I don’t know who “Waka Flocka” is, or what he sings, but I agree with him on this!”)
Bristol also sided with actor/rapper/producer Ice Cube, who said: “To cry about not winning an award is like crying because you don’t have enough icing on your cake!”
“So far as what I have seen about the #OscarSoWhiteControversy,” she added, “it seems Jada Smith started it because her husband wasn’t getting nominated.
“I don’t know how other people think about it, but I hope my son sees early on – that not everyone gets a trophy.”
In another blog post Palin also aligned herself with Stacey Dash as far as eliminating BET, the BET Awards, and the NAACP Image Awards and said, “We shouldn’t segregate ourselves or limit Black History Month to one month a year. I wish things were really colorblind … I don’t know what we can do as a society to come together as one.”
