Anti-Beyonce rally Group Plans Anti-Beyonce’ Protest Rally Outside NFL Office

The NFL will soon find out that not everyone in the world loves Beyonce’. Protesters are expected outside of NFL headquarters next week to express their displeasure with the halftime show. The legendary hip hop star recently performed in the halftime show for Super Bowl 50 with Bruno Mars.
The performance was well received but some voiced opposition to what some saw as a homage’ to the Black Panther Party and its leader Malcolm X.

“Join us as we demonstrate on the block of the NFL Headquarters building,” the page reads. “Are you offended as an American that Beyonce pulled her race-baiting stunt at the Superbowl? Do you agree that it was a slap in the face to law enforcement? Do you agree that the Black Panthers was/is a hate group which should not be glorified? Come and let’s stand together. Let’s tell the NFL we don’t want hate speech & racism at the Superbowl ever again!”

While no direct references were made to the slain civil rights leader or the organization that polarized the nation, the Beyonce’ dancers wore costumes which were similar to the Black Panther uniforms and during the course of the performance, the dancers formed an “X” in the middle of the field, reports the Washington Post.

Beyonce’ has not issued a statement indicating whether her performance was intended to cause controversy but many note that right before the Super Bowl Beyonce’ announced the release of her latest album and right after the performance she announced her new world tour.

The organizers of the protest plan to start their demonstration on Tuesday, February 16, at 8:00 am outside of NFL Headquarters. The NFl has not issued an statement regarding the Beyonce’ performance nor has it stated if it would respond to the planned protests.
