I feel like I’m losing a best friend. My heart breaks, but we do know that she is going to be with the Lord soon. Even though she’s going to be greatly missed, and We can’t imagine what your going thru. We will always keep you in our prayers and thoughts always. She will be looking down from heaven over you two. God be with you all, and all our love to you all, God bless your family…..
Rory and girls: I have followed your musical journey and then the journey through this valley – I have admired Joey and all of you for the strength and love you have displayed and, yes, many of us have prayed your prayer for several months. We do not always understand and maybe we never will here. Also, I saw a bit of mischief in Joey that I just loved and I always thought she had that beautiful, serene face – maybe she knew she was destined to be with God soon. I am so glad she enjoyed her life and loved that spirit!
My wife DELANA and I always thought she sounded like an angel, every time we heard her sing. Now she will be singing with real angles in heaven, our prayers go out to Rory and the girls. GOD BE WITH YOU! Art and DELANA AUSTIN.
Good Morning from the Great Navajo Nation
May God Be with Rory and the Girls also the rest of the Family. Your songs really inspired me as well. I love how you to sing together. Sending Prayers for you all from the Great Navajo Nation.
Rory,
I have been following your beautiful family and love story. I find peace in knowing that your Faith will provide you the comfort you need. Joey will not leave this earth without touching millions. As you face the future and returning to your farm without your love by your side- look for God sightings and feel her presence. What a beautiful addition she will be to the heavenly choir. Kiss Indy often for her mama. The world who loves you will pray for you. Listen to her song “When I’m gone” and know that was a gift from God and Joey- take her advice, after all she loves her cowboy.
In HIS love,
Dawn
Greetings Rory and Joey Feek, from Fort Washington, Maryland. I sent you all a post yesterday and feel even more compelled to send you another post today. I asked GOD and my daughter, Shalaya M. Moore Toby, who passed after a car crash in Clinton, Maryland on 6 September 2015, to stand hand-in-hand to welcome Joey when the time comes. Rory, words could not express the sadness I have in my heart for you, Joey, your baby and the rest of your family even though I have never met you all. An unknown writer, once said, “the way to love anything is to realize it may be lost”, and Rory your dedication and stand fast ways have proven just how true these words truly are. Thank you for loving your beautiful wife the way GOD wants men to love their wives. Joey, may the spirit of GOD surround you and comfort you as you transition to the better side of life. May peace be with you my SONG BIRD. I LOVE AND ADORE YOU. YOURS TRULY, YOUR UNKNOWN FRIEND GINNY MOORE
Rory you have been thanking us for reading your blog but, we should be thanking you for sharing. I believe you & Joey have changed so many lives with your blog. God wrap your arms around Joey and free her from her pain. God bless you and your family. Your family will always be in my prayers.
My wife has your last cd and she loves it. She says Joey sounds like a beautiful angel. She has all of you in her thoughts. May god be always with you . Sincerly
We wonder why must this happen! We cry in our grief and sometimes even get angry with God! It just isn’t fair….sometimes life isn’t fair. When we have exhausted and spent all of our emotions, we finally realize that this is…we accept the inevitable with as much grace as we can muster. Dear Rory, Joey and little Indy, know that there are hundreds of thousands of people who are praying….praying
