“Jungle Book” Tops Box Office

The Jungle Book swung higher and higher in America and around the world. The $175 million Walt Disney adaptation of the 1967 animated feature (and the original Rudyard Kipling book) earned a massive $136.1m overseas this weekend. That includes $50.3m in China and a new $20.1m cume for India, making it the third-biggest American release ever in said territory in just ten days. It has earned $21.5m thus far in IMAX alone.
