Nutrition Professor Creates World’s Healthiest Pizza
Nutrition professor Mike Lean believes (i wouldn’t believe if he was called Mike Fat) he has created what is being marketed as the healthiest pizza in the world, a pizza offering whose ingredient list makes it actually healthier than eating a salad.
Professor Lean says that he has been able to incorporate each of the 47 nutrients that the human body needs for good health on a daily basis into his pizza creation called the Eat Balanced Pizza. The pizza has been introduced in markets in England and Wales this week.
To achieve the world’s first ready to eat healthiest pizza, Lean used a number of ingredients which are not thought of as usual pizza ingredients, the company’s own research claims. These include seaweed, an iron and Vitamin-B rich flour crust and ground red pepper in the pizza’s tomato sauce for enriched amounts of Vitamin C.
The new pizza offering is found in the frozen food aisle of the supermarket and comes in three different varieties, all as 9-inch sized rounds. Lean contends that anyone who consumed three pizzas a day would meet all of their nutritional requirements for remaining healthy. But several people who have already sampled the new Eat Balanced Pizza say that it can take some getting used to the taste of seaweed.
