Jennifer Lopez Posts Bathtub Selfie Ahead of Her 45th Birthday Bash
Jennifer Lopez turned 45 this past July 24, and ahead of her evening of birthday celebration, she posted a selfie of her relaxing in a hot bath amid a jet stream and copious amounts of yellow and red rose petals. With her hair moistened and slicked back and her body in a state of utter relaxation, fans got an up-close look at the singer/actress/fashion designer’s raw beauty and boy does she have natural beauty. Truth be told, 45 years of age is not old by any standard, especially not for Lopez who has taken excellent care of her skin over the years. Her caption to the photograph was succinct as she pointed out she was soaking in the experience. She also included hashtags #quietbeforethestorm, #itsmyparty and #birthdaygirl.
Later in the evening, she tweeted a photograph of her cast in purple lighting during her celebration in Southampton. The entertainer had her hair styled and her makeup was layered on. Truth be told, the makeup detracts from the underlying beauty displayed in her earlier photograph, which was an absolutely artistic expression. As for the party, she had a veritable guest list of 100 people, which included Leah Remini, Khloe Kardashian, Kelly Ripa, Scott Disick, Fat Joe, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, French Montana and singer Andy Cohen.
Rumors are abounding that Lopez is in a romantic relationship with Chmerkovskiy, well-known as a dance instructor-partner in the reality TV competition “Dancing with the Stars”. The handsome and affable Chmerkovskiy, age 33, would be advised to take a word of advice as Lopez is increasingly taking on the role of a cougar. She recently ended her relationship with another much younger boy toy dancer by the name of Casper Smart. That said, Lopez is definitely not lucky in love as her three failed marriages can attest. So the risk that Chmerkovskiy will end up being a temporary muse for her is good.
Meanwhile, the busy diva was recently photographed wearing a Brown string bikini showing off her toned abs. Her BFF Leah Remini took the photographs and Lopez put them on Instagram. Lopez said she “feels 28.” The forty four year old singer, actress and dancer looks fantastic and fit.
Lopez is eating healthy and exercises routinely. She started a five week vegan diet in June, eating no meat, dairy or gluten. Eliminating these items from her diet helped her lose the stubborn 10 pounds. The Marco Borges Plan assisted her slim down from size 4 to size 2.
Food is not the only thing she used to get this svelte body, her six hour dance rehearsals are credited with the weight loss. Jennifer Lopez is not known as an exercise junkie, but the strenuous dance movies make up for any exercise moves she forgoes.
Born in the Bronx, In 1990 Jennifer Lopez got her break as a dancer on the TV show In Living Color, as a “Fly Girl.” She appeared in small parts, and acted in Mi Familia in 1995, then in Money Train of the same year. Her role as “Selena” the popular Mexican singer, who died at at a young age, is credited with getting her noticed in 1997.
Jennifer has two children. She has been married three times to Ojani Noa a dancer, 1 year, Cris Judd 2 years and Marc Anthony 10 years. Past significant partners are listed as David Cruz, Ben Affleck and rapper Sean “Puffy” Combs.
