Working it: Sam Smith took to Instagram to share his delight at dropping 14lbs in 14 days with the help of a new nutrition book
Smoith 22, took to his Instagram account to pay tribute to nutritionist Amelia Freer after he “completely transformed” his relationship with food by taking tips from her book “Eat. Nourish. Glow.”
“Three weeks ago I met a woman who has completely changed my life,” he wrote.
“Amelia Freer has helped me lose over a stone in 2 weeks and has completely transformed my relationship with food. Everyone go check out her incredible book, and start to live healthy. It’s not even about weight loss it’s about feeling happy in yourself. Love you Amelia & thank you for making me feel so happy inside and out.”
The “Stay With Me” hitmaker also said he has become “obsessed” with yoga after taking part in his first session on Tuesday.
“Just been introduced to Yoga for the first time in my life. F**k, Im obsessed,” he tweeted.
But Smith looks like he’ll be laying low instead of doing the downward dog Wednesday, after tweeting that he needs a rest.
“Day off today,” he wrote. “Voice needs it. Still not feeling 100%. Water + sleep + water + sleep.”

‘Incredible’: Sam credits Amelia Freer with his weight loss after she ‘transformed’ his relationship with food
I’m glad that Sam has decided to change his lifestyle (well, with nutrition and health that is haha). Unlike him, I’m what’s considered “morbidly obese” in medical terms. I found that when I started eating a full healthy breakie, lunch and tea, cut out sweets and fizzy drinks, drank tons of water, ate healthier snacks and grouped that with minimal physical activity (for now)made me much more active.
I managed to lose 1 stone in less than 2 weeks. It is possible for that type off weight loss to occur with me being such an obese person. I’m 157.5cm and weigh 17.86 stone.
I don’t have a trainer, cook or special equipment. I don’t have people cheering me. I can’t be arsed.
I’m eating healthy and moving more. That is my mantra now.

On the one hand he looks good, REALLY good and the food he’s eating is obviously healthy. But on the other it seems like a radical amount of weight loss in too short a time span, that weight is sure to boomerang back as often happens to people who are overweight and quickly take off weight.
There is no reason to be out of shape if you can afford to buy healthy food items, and if you can afford a personal chef. In addition, when you are rich getting a really good personal trainer is viable.
